A line drawing of the two of you: the gift that never gets old
A photo of the two of you, hand-drawn and embroidered on a sweater. Why it works so well as a gift, and how to choose the right photo.

Some gifts you forget after a week. A sweater with a line drawing of the two of you is something you'll still be wearing years later.
Short answer: A line drawing is the outline of your photo, hand-drawn and embroidered in a single thread color of your choice, approximately 10 × 10 cm. It works best for 1 to 3 people or pets. On a sweater, it costs from €54.95, and you will see the drawing before we embroider it.
Why a line drawing instead of a photo?
A photo on a sweater quickly becomes a souvenir shirt. A line drawing is different: a few lines, no shading, no background. It serves as a reminder of the moment without literally showing it. Personal for those in the know, just a nice sweater to everyone else.
Louise draws every line drawing by hand on a tablet. No filters, no AI. Julie then converts it into an embroidery file and stitches it onto your sweater.
Which photo should you choose for a line drawing?
The best photos have three things in common:
- Heads fully in frame, not cut off and not hidden behind sunglasses.
- Sharp and well-lit, without harsh shadows across the face.
- A recognizable pose: a hug, shoulder-to-shoulder, looking at each other.
The photo from your first trip, the wedding photo, or a spontaneous snapshot from the couch: it’s all possible. Not sure? Read is your photo suitable for embroidery?

With the whole family
A line drawing is ideal for 1 to 3 people. With more people, everyone needs to remain individually recognizable within about 10 × 10 cm, so that requires extra attention. Feel free to send us your photo via WhatsApp or email first, and we will let you know what is possible. [fill in possibilities and price for 4 or more people]
Including the dog or cat
Is the pet part of the family? Then it belongs on the sweater, too. Put you all together in one drawing, or choose a sweater with a pet only.
